I started this one with pan pastel mostly as a block in and eventually added more values with some other pastels, I use bricks only not pastel pencils and such, smaller pencils force the artist to go into unnecessary details, its about the big shapes then smaller shapes, that should be enough to define a form three dimensionaly on a two dimensional surface.
