YELLOW FINCH watercolor painting is about 5 X 5 inches and the third of a
set of four. The surface painted on is treated with watercolor
medium, and then I will spray varnish them so they can be framed without
a mat or glass. I love using the watercolor medium as the pigment
doesn't penetrate the surface as it does with paper so the colors remain
bright.
It's hard to live your life in color, and tell the truth in black and white.
