Continuing to feature some of the commissioned paintings I've done this year, here is another very large piece which was inspired by a smaller 16x20 in. painting of peonies previously sold on ebay. As this was significantly larger, I was able to comfortably add quite a bit more detail as well as the wrens which the client desired. This is the focal point of the client's room setting.
