I am starting a collection of 1 hour artworks. This will allow me to create what I am inspired by at the time, yet allow me time for my bigger collections. These 1 hour artworks have to be completed in under an hour pushing me to work on different sections just enough to get across my vision. They will be of many different subject matters and mediums - whatever I feel like creating that day! I will try to be making these about 5 days a week, so watch for more!
This particular artwork was inspired by a Coca-Cola vending machine I saw when my boyfriend and I were travelling. I guess I was bored and just started looking at the design of the vending machine. I really liked the swirls and dots under the writing, and become inspired to create my own design out of swirls and circles. This was the result and was a lot of fun to create! I have also seen many artworks by other artists using ballpoint pen that are amazing! I will be looking to further explore with this medium. More to come tomorrow & I have started preliminary sketches for a new collections I am starting - those will be coming soon too!
