Sunshine on my Shoulders by Kit Hevron Mahoney

I seem to be hung up on song titles and John Denver's song, Sunshine on my Shoulders keeps playing in my head. I guess I am ready to be done with winter and have some spring days with no wind, and sun shining on me in 70 degree temps. This sunlit path makes me feel the summer warmth. I did this landscape from a photo taken at our Denver Botanic Gardens late last summer. It was one of those perfect Colorado Days my mother used to refer to as "Champaign Days"

7"x5" original oil on gessoed board unframed

I enjoy making up the titles as much as I do painting the subjects :) sometimes when I'm buying vegetables or knick knacks to paint, the title just pops into my head.
Nice painting, by the way and John Denver's music is inspiring.
