Abstract Art indicates a departure from reality.
It does not attempt to represent external,
recognizable reality but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes,
forms, colors, and texture.
With my woven abstract oil paintings I have achieved these elements.
This another idea I came up with doing the woven strips on a diagonal.
The loops on this abstract painting are fairly high to create a real 3D effect.
Took a long time to weave all this media.
Tough to photograph as well, but I think I caught the dimension in these photos.
Colors: red, orange, blues, greens, yellow, sienna, copper and gold metallics
