"Redhead" was very different for me to paint, but it was fun. This little hen has been scratching for food on straw strewn ground, when something has got her attention. The lively brushwork in the background is expressive of her highly excitable character after being disturbed. This would be perfect for someone who collects chickens in their kitchen or dining room. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed painting it! ~Connie
