The title comes from an old Simon and Garfunkel song, appropriate, I think, because the photo was taken about the same time the song was popular. The little girl is now a grown woman, and the lovely dog has gone on the heaven, where all good dogs go. I admit to manufacturing the background. It is much more romantic that the background in the old, faded photograph. Innocence and Confidences
