Absract Nude Oil Painting by k Madison Moore

Abstract Nude Oil Painting

Emotions in Color II
14 x 18 inches

Abstractionism Series

Do you ever associate color with different emotions
that you may be feeling? You know, like when people are angry
and they " see red"? How about blue? Do you think about blue when your
sad or when your cold or when you think of the sky? Try it someday.
Think about a color for your emotions.
You may find it fun and relaxing.

Doing an abstract with many colors once in awhile
is a good exercise for me after doing so many detailed paintings.
This is how I satisfy my need for freedom to let the brush fly
with lots of colors and no definite direction to see what I come up with.
I like this one and the emotion it portrays.
Enjoy!

This abstract nude oil painting had layers and layers of impasto
and heavy paint worked into a web effect. Many shades of blue and turquoise
and a bit of plum. A nice painting for a special place or person.
