Lupines in Lone Pine, 11" x 14", Oil on canvas. This painting was inspired during a visit and photo shoot to the Lone Pine area with a grand view of Mt. Whitney. When my parents went hiking in days gone by, my father use to photograph the Lupines for my mom. I remember seeing them in bright blues, however these were shades of purple.
