"A Gentle Grandeur" ~ 18"x24" A Painting a Day Hudson River School Landscapes Paintings by Connie Tom

The scene is from an elevated stance overlooking God's beautiful creation at sunset. An early evening fog meanders it's way through the hills. If the viewer can imagine themselves into this scene, they would sense the calmness of nature and enjoy the solitude and breathe in the fresh country air. They might smell the sweet scent of wildflowers growing effortlessly at their feet and watch the sun's glow move slowly across the horizon. ~ Enjoy!

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no language, where their voice is not heard...In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun. Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof." ~ Psalm 19:1-6.
