APPLESAUCE, 9" x 9", Watercolor.(SOLD) This fresh and lively apple painting was inspired by my trip to the store to get apples to make applesauce. I put them in my colander to wash in preparation for my culinary task. I could see and enjoy both the warm and cool colors in these apples, from the blushing reds through the pinks and oranges to yellow. There is something so basic about an apple and I couldn't let it go unnoticed. This painting was sold before it was ever framed but I do hope you enjoy viewing it here.
