Well...I almost didn't work on this challenge today as my outing ran longer than I thought but I decided to at least start and before I knew it I was having a ball. Definitely one of the most fun paintings I have done in a long time. I may add a touch or two but all in all...it was so much fun! Yes...I did have a bit of a martini before I began but I think it was just trying something new and I began with a blue background and most paintings I begin with red. Some times you just have to change things up! You would think an artist would remember to do that more often! This was challenge #4 which was to paint something delicious and I painted my favorite martini...a cosmopolitan! I am excited to have fellow artist, Linda Popple working on this challenge also and there may be more soon! My next challenge is to paint fruit and that will be on Monday.
