After much thought on how to give this 6X6 inch painting the feelings I wanted, the process began. First the development and coloring of the blue background,trees,grass and then the two walking, that part took time, I wanted them in the painting yet not dominate, they had to be a part of the composition and pull it all together, I wanted to feel their quiet stroll.
