Nobody Here But Us Chickens watercolor painting is 7 x 10 inches on Arches 140 lb paper, from a Wet Canvas weekend drawing event. Sorry I haven't been posting as much, but am working on an afghan for my oldest grandson and his fiance. I'd rather be painting..... In case you're wondering where the expression comes from - I had no idea this was a song -- this is Wikipedia's answer:
"Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens" is a 1946 song with music and lyrics by Alex Kramer and Joan Whitney. It was recorded by Louis Jordan and His Tympany Five. The single hit number one on the R&B Juke Box chart and number six on the pop chart.[1] The B-side, a song entitled "Let the Good Times Roll", peaked at number two on the R&B Juke Box chart.
