Old Town Geneva
(place de Bourg-de-Four)
Watercolor on paper
15" x 22" unframed
I miss my walks at the Old Town Geneva. I lost count of the times I
stopped at this place for a cup of coffee and cake: a great place for refueling and people watching.
I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather of this beautiful autumn, if
you live in the northern hemisphere, and the beautiful spring weather if
you live in the southern part of the globe! As for the people who live
in this area, I can say for certain that we deserve a break from the
extreme heat, hurricane (Irene), floods and even a fairly big (in my
opinion!) earthquake! What a summer it was!
I did not have much time for painting while my daughter was on summer
vacation, as we squeezed travels and kept an overall busy schedule,
however I did manage to produce a few paintings, during rare brakes,
which I plan to post here soon.
The above painting of Geneva was done from a digital photo that I took
before we moved to Washington DC, one year ago. I hope you like it!
