"Tootsie," 6" x 6", commissioned portrait of a dear little terrier, done in Golden Open Acrylics on ampersand gessobord. Tootsie is going to a long time Dog a Day collector, a woman who found me because the prior owners of her house were also collectors of mine. JL intercepted a note to them shortly after moving in, and not soon thereafter commissioned portraits of her brood. I've lost track of how many we've done to date, which is shameless of me, I know. Meanwhile, she's been busy celebrating a milestone birthday. And getting a jump start on her holiday shopping.  Come Paint with Moi Bring your brushes and spend the day finessing your color mixing and painting skills. Our day will be broken up into a variety of exercises specifically designed to help loosen brushwork and paint with fresh color. The afternoon session will provide a larger block of time to work more intensely on a pet portrait of your choosing.
