Close Up Red Rose watercolor painting is 9 x 12 inches on Arches 140 lb paper. I have been busy painting, but on illustrations for the new children's book, so not able to post it here. It's been very challenging because of the subject matter, the earthquake in Haiti, but I am excited about how it is turning out. The story itself is beautifully written by Kiki Latimer, and our hope with this book is to bring healing into the lives of the children who have been traumatized by providing a platform for expression of what's happened to them, their friend, their family, their country.
