Primroses 6x6 oil on canvas by Margaret Aycock

Every year I look forward to the primrose/peony season.  The unfortunate thing is that they usually arrive at the same time and leave way too soon.  I love to paint them and have found that the daily paintings work well for primroses.  My preference is a large floral still life but when I don't have the time to afford to days of painting, these little sketches fit the bill.  I have this on ebay this week at a start price of only $33.  Every now and then I price one very low to drive buyers to the store.  This one is on a wide edge stretched canvas.  Check out my blog for the next few months.  I have decided to post one page a day from my book on oil painting ( which can be purchased through my blog or on ebay and amazon.  ebay auction     blog
