While perusing my reference looking for pictures for a commission I came across this image taken when in New England on a trip with my photographer friend Pat. It seemed like the perfect subject to paint with the 4th of July just around the corner. It is great that I now have so many shows and commissions behind me that I now have time to get back to doing some of my small daily paintings.
