White Orchid watercolor painting is 9 x 12. It is listed currently on auction at
Ebay. At least for the next days.... This was another Wet Canvas WDE but for this weekend hosted by
Bonnie.
She challenged us to do some textures, so the background was done first
with a wet on wet and the paint allowed to just spread, then sprayed
with alcohol and saran wrap layed on top. The hard part is not peeking
until it's completely dry.
The beginning painter is focused on learning technique
with the goal of
accuracy. Then comes the realization that
composition and design are
more important.
