Conch Shell Watercolor Painting

 

Conch Shell watercolor painting (6 X 6") on Ampersand Aquaboard and using Daniel Smith duochrome paints for the sand.   It doesn't show but these paints give the sand the little glistening htat real sand has.  I plan on spray varnishing this and framing without a mat or glass.   

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.
