Landscape in Blue watercolor painting, another of this weekend's WDE at
Wet Canvas.
The challenge was to work from black and white photos for a value study
and limited palette. For this I used blues and a little violet. The
nice thing about watercolors is you can crop out areas you don't like
and I think I would crop out much of the bottom (below) -- just done
with photoshop so the original painting is the same should I change my
mind......
You must welcome change as the rule but not as your ruler.
