This is my contribution to this week's WDE at Wet Canvas. Kay was the gracious host this week and provided a bunch of great photos! The little girl is Lillian. Kay's great granddaughter.
I'm glad I was able to put my brakes on and stop early in this piece. I managed to retain the sketchiness I like so well. After the painting was done, I even went back into it with a brush to accentuate the sketchiness. The background is the acrylic that tones the panel.
