Looff Carousel is a historic
carousel which was built in 1895 by
Charles I. D. Looff. The carousel was originally located in a carnival called
Lee Funland in upstate, New York. The carousel was relocated to its present location at
Slater Park
in 1910 where it continues to operate. Rides are $0.25 each--not much
you can get for that anywhere else! The Rhode Island Watercolor
Society is right across the street where you can look at some beautiful
paintings, not to mention the beautiful park and walking paths,
playground.

From where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game.”
