Birds with texture, Barbara Pask

Hi! I’ve had fun lately painting birds over this leaf texture. I create the texture with modeling paste. These are 4” x 6” deep canvases and I use Golden Open paints for these. I love oils but the Golden Opens dry slower and you have some time to work with them and I think the finished painting looks more like oils.
