This was painted in the fall of 2005 near Poughkeepsie, New York. I was searching around and found this scene and was captivated by it. The white house nestled in the bright autumn foliage all reflected in a stream made for beautiful subject matter. The stream passed under and overpass which I stood upon in order to capture the scene.
