When the model walked in and I noticed she hardly had any hair and consequently wasn't feeling inspired to paint her frankly (because of the short hair cut) but as we posed her in this posterior view, reminiscent of William Merritt Chase's famous painting "Back of a Nude", I began to see the overall subtle beauty of a back view and that her femininity was expressed by the voluptuousness of her form despite anything else.
