Painted last fall in Brewster, NY. This is a painting of Peach Lake at sunrise. I work up before dawn and caught the early morning colors as the sun comes up and creates a beautiful display of color, which most of us miss, as we are asleep in bed at this time. There is a quite and a beauty and a silence to be found in this scene that I've studied on numerous occasions.
