I just bought some fresh eggs and noticed that this particular one really glowed with color. The warmth seemed to call for a cool-warm painting so I placed my model (unclothed) on an open book. It was an old book with quite yellowed pages but since I needed cool colors, I painted the paper very light blue-gray. I really love this little painting.
